If you book a hotel through a third party, most often you do not get the above benefits. When you book using a third party, you are not the hotel's customer. The third party is the customer. If something is wrong with your reservation, the hotel will not help you. You are not their customer.

We wish to show how easy it is to do your own travel. With on-line access to all hotels, it makes much more sense to book a hotel yourself directly with the hotel.

It may be difficult to stay often enough to maintain a desired status level since a hotel included in your loyalty program may not be available for your destination. To make things easy, we included a list of hotels within your favorite hotel collection.
